PDF Tools

PDF tools fix the everyday friction of the world's most stubborn document format — starting with combining several files into one. FreeToolsKit merges PDFs inside your browser with the pdf-lib library, so contracts, scans and certificates are never uploaded to a stranger's server.

Why use these PDF tools?

  • Documents stay on your device — merging happens locally, which matters for contracts and personal records.
  • Pages are copied exactly — merging never re-renders, compresses or changes the quality of your pages.
  • Order is yours — arrange files before merging and see every page count before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Merging runs in your browser using pdf-lib. Your documents never leave your device and cannot be seen by anyone else.

Will merging change my documents' quality?

No. Pages are copied into the merged file exactly as they are — text, images and layout are preserved byte-for-byte.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

No — protected files cannot be read, so they cannot be merged. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then merge the unlocked copies.
